Temporary Closure Notice 9th June - Doddington and Islip Lock

There will be a power outage at the above locks on Monday 9th June between 8.30 and 15.30 while works are carried out.  The locks will be inoperable during this time period.

Ongoing Improvement Works at Orton Sluice until 1st June 14

Works are being carried out at Orton Sluice on the River Nene which may impact on the lock nearby. Please take care when navigating in the area and pay attention to signage and safety control measures in place.  Work expected to continue until 1st June.

River Nene Fuel Boat - April Dates

Fuel Boat Bletchley will be moving downriver Barnwell to Dog in a Doublet on Friday 25th April and back upriver Dog in a Doublet to Barnwell on Saturday 26th April - contact 07856 686363 or message on Facebook

Bank Repairs at Ditchford

Work is currently being carried out to repair the bank and river bed at Ditchford.  Lock paddles are being used to control water levels in the area. Boaters may experience some delays and low water levels, please proceed with caution.  For further information contact the River Inspector, Andy Hall 07760 422263. Work is scheduled to end on 16th May 2014 but dates may vary depending on river levels and weather conditions.

Due to maintenance at Higham Ferrers Lock, there is a temporary landing stage in place - issued by EA 7th April 2014
